Exposed

I feel so... naked.

Out there in the world, without my camera. Noticing possible subjects. Observing moments that neatly capture the mood of the day. Seeing photo opportunities everywhere... and feeling a tad under-dressed...

I have left the big rig at home, on purpose, for the past several days. Just to see what it feels like. And while I have enjoyed a little more freedom from the routine, sometimes pressure, of making photographs daily... I do feel like something is missing.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I went to the St. Pats Day Parade in Abington on Sunday w/o my camera, and I felt lost. It was like I left a very important body part at home. Today is day 2 for me not pressing the shutter, and it just doesn't feel right......something's missing. I'll be back to my project soon I think. :-)BTW.....GREAT photo and analogy!!

Yep, been there. Saw the cutest flock of tiny sparrows all huddled in a shrub - must have been 30 birds dotting the shrub like they were ornaments on a tree and NO camera. Sigh. I think they were mocking me, too.

Great image!
