We tried something new this year, and instead of shopping for our Christmas tree in a parking lot hard by the edge of a four-lane highway, we went for a fresh one. I was pleasantly surprised --we found a farm close to home, there were plenty of trees to choose from, the weather cooperated nicely, and we didn't have to bring our own chainsaw...

Hey, that's our tree. And bringing our own chainsaw would be more fun. We would just need to own a chainsaw. Hmmm....
Isn't it FUN to walk the field and find 'the ONE?' The perspective on this is awesome. Great tree, too!
