If you have ever attended a dance recital, chances are, much of this will look familiar. The costumes, the lights and stage, the student dancers, the heads of other parents blocking your view, and the teacher in front directing the dance... All captured in a not-so-hot photo.

Can you ever get a good photo at a recital? This one is great because you've managed to capture ALL of the fun going on in the room. I never thought to get a shot from that angle to include the instructor.
i totally understand. going to a band concert on tomorrow and that will be wednesday's photo. am sure it will look very similar to yours.
