Chart

38/365
We found this taped to the wall in the kids' playroom. It's like stumbling upon a cave painting...But what did it mean to the artist? Are they anxious about the current economic climate? Are we raising little social scientists, who delight in charts & graphs? (Maybe there's a little Chicago in them after all!) Will 2009 really be that bad?!?

Rupe believes this has to do with annual sweets accumulation.

Chris, thanks for sharing the graph! I simply ask that the y-axis be labeled. So depending on the labeling of the y-axis, life might not be so bad. Could the y-axis be "number of times I've disappointed my parents?" If so, you're in good shape. Might not have to do so much "crap management."

My sources have been evasive regarding the graph's true meaning...Although, since we are on track to meet and surpass last year's candy consumption, I have to eliminate Rupe's hypothesis. Amy, your theory is quite attractive, so let's go with that until we have more evidence...
